Home from Pilchuck

I’ve been home for a day and missing the Pilchuck community every bit as much as I thought I would. Pilchuck is truly special for its atmosphere of collaboration, inspiration and generosity.

I want to stay connected, I want to return.

I am posting a slideshow of some of my memories. I took about 600 pictures and most of them are of the wonderful people and their amazing work. But generally, the people and the work are not the photos I’m showing here. These are memories of the place.

Amazing to think that the Session 4 staff has already gathered and the new group of students arrive tomorrow. Whoever you are, I am sure you’ll love Pilchuck!

It’s been 11 years since I went to Pilchuck and I sometimes forget that feeling you’re feeling now. It’s a wonderful place to be a part of briefly – thanks for reminding me!

Leinors Torre is one of the most amazing people I know! Such a wonderful, thoughtful, quiet and considered artist.

    Thanks for your posts!

And I miss those breakfasts, now I have to make my own! Acclimatising to life back home is going slowly….Thanks for sharing atmospheric pics.
